Today we gathered to acknowledge the contribution of the outgoing Chairperson of the Board of Management, John Delaney. John stepped down from his position in Term 1 and has been replaced by Father David Vard.
John has been involved with the school for an incredible 32 years. Over these years, he has worked with five different principals and five different parish priests, always offering his support and guidance. He joined the Parents’ Council in 1988 and the Board of Management in 1996. For the past 12 years, he has served as chairperson of the Board of Management, leading with a deep sense of responsibility to our school’s growth and success.
Despite leading a busy life as a farmer, John has always found time to serve our school in this voluntary position. We sincerely appreciate everything he has done for us and we wish him every happiness and success in all that lies ahead.
