Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind celebrated Guide Dog Day on Friday 27th May and we were delighted to have Michelle O Mahony visit our school on the day with her Guide Dog Zita.
Michelle and Zita visited all the classes to talk about the work of Guide Dogs and there was huge enthusiasm and interest across the whole school.
In light of the day that was in it a non-uniform day was organised and we raised an amazing €268.50 for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind which we were delighted to present to Michelle.
