Michelle and her Guide Dog Zita came to visit Junior Infants on Friday 27th May to celebrate Guide Dog Day.
We all learned so much from Michelle who told us lots about how Zita helps her each day as well as how Zita went to Guide Dog School (on a bus!) to learn everything she needed to know to be a Guide Dog.
We had plenty of questions and lots of stories about our own dogs too. We really are a class of dog lovers! It was a very special visit and Michelle was delighted to hear that all the children helped raise lots of money for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
