Earth Day Celebrations in 5th Class 🌍
We used water colour paints to create fabulous pictures of or beautiful planet. We also got started on some planting, with pumpkin seeds and peas, and we will plant cress, lettuce and sunflowers next week. We look forward to adding them to our school garden.
We took advantage of the beautiful sunshine and went outside, took off our shoes and socks for some ‘grounding’, a technique that allows our skin to come into contact with the earth, helping us to reconnect with the earth, rebalance and quite literally ‘grounding’ us. Well done rang a cuig! 🌿☘️🌲🍃🌱
