6th class took to Dublin City to see the sights and soak up some history knowledge.
We were fascinated by all things Viking in the Archaeology museum as Vanessa explained the many artefacts to the students. Everyone was surprised to learn that Vikings did not wear helmets and they were in fact quite vain!
The children enjoyed lunch in the inspiring Trinity College before crossing the Liffey on the Sean O Casey bridge. We spotted The Custom House, Leinster House and the impressive convention centre on our way.
EPIC was just that- an epic and enthralling collection of Irish stories from our emigrants past and present.
