While our Irish Athletes compete at the European games in Poland the children of TNS took part in their own athletics championship.
The sun was shining on another glorious day in Timahoe as the boys and girls took part in a long distance run, shot put, javelin, long jump and a sprint race.
6th class students assisted as the younger classes were competing before lining up on the start line themselves.
The talent, effort and determination on display was exceptional and we hope to see more of our students take part in Athletics over the summer.
