We had Conor Whelan and his 2 very able assistants, Anna and Amy out to help us carry out an experiment on acids and bases this afternoon. Thank you to Conor, Anna and Amy for a very enjoyable afternoon. Thank you also to Noel Daly and the science department at Portlaoise College for organising the activity. We are looking forward to the return journey to Portlaoise college for further experiments based on the theme of space.
