The curtains came down on our 3rd day of our whole school production of Bah Humbug to rapturous applause.
The children of 5th and 6th class retold the Dicken's classic in a humorous and relatable way.
Set on Christmas Eve and what an eventful night! Especially for the miserable, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge(played by Niamh Ramsbottom)who finds himself visited by some rather unexpected characters!
Through encounters with his former partner, Jacob Marley (Anna Clancy), and three very different ghosts, Scrooge is given the chance to revisit his past ( Daisy Ramsbottom), weigh his present (Emma Burke) and glimpse his future (Ruairi Headen). Bob Cratchit( Ruairi Bowe) cannot believe his luck to discover the change in Scrooge over the course of that Christmas Eve.
Scrooge takes the once-in-a lifetime opportunity to change, seeing that Christmas is a time for celebrations and appreciating our family and friends.
The scene was set by our wonderful musicians on the violin. (3rd-5th).

The Costumes alone deserve huge applause. Well done!
